Ályktun miðstjórnar Samiðnar

Miðstjórn Samiðnar samþykkti á fundi sínum í dag harðorða ályktun um stöðu efnahagsmála, sem hljóðar svo:

„Miðstjórn Samiðnar lýsir miklum vonbrigðum með þróun efnahagsmála, aðgerðarleysi stjórnvalda og þá stöðnun sem við blasir hvarvetna í íslensku samfélagi. Miðstjórnin lýsir fullri ábyrgð á hendur Alþingi sem hefur ekki valdið sínu hlutverki hvorki stjórn né stjórnarandstaða. Miðstjórnin skorar á alþingismenn að láta hagsmuni fólksins í landinu ganga fyrir og lýsir vantrausti á þá alþingismenn sem spila á efnahagserfiðleika þjóðarinnar sér til framdráttar. Ef ekki næst samstaða á Alþingi á næstu dögum um markvissar aðgerðir til að bregðast við vaxandi erfiðleikum fjölskyldna og fyrirtækja þá verður að stokka upp á nýtt.
Með stöðugleikasáttmálanum lýstu stéttarfélögin og samtök atvinnurekenda því yfir að þau væri reiðubúin að vinna með stjórnvöldum að nýrri sókn í atvinnumálum. Aðgerðaleysi og sundrung á Alþingi  staðfestir  að sáttmálinn er ekki tekinn alvarlega.                               
Miðstjórnin beinir því til stéttarfélagana í landinu að þau fari að huga að því hvernig hægt sé að knýja fram raunhæfar aðgerðir sem leitt geti þjóðina út úr þeim vanda sem hún er í. Þolinmæðin er á þrotum, tíminn er að renna frá okkur og ef engin raunhæf úrræði koma fram á næstu vikum stefnum við hraðbyri að næsta hruni.
Íslendingar  eiga möguleika á  að koma í veg fyrir nýtt hrun og því kallar miðstjórn Samiðnar eftir samstöðu með öllum þeim sem vilja byggja upp  Ísland,  þar sem allir eiga tækifæri, þar sem sameiginlegir hagsmunir eru settir fram fyrir sérhagsmuni, þar sem allir eru látnir axla ábyrgð á gerðum sínum.“
