Starfsmenn í ákvæðisvinnu fá greidda orlofsuppbót líkt og aðrir.

Iðnnemar í fullu starfi hjá fyrirtæki á námstíma fá fulla orlofsuppbót. 

Fullt starf telst vera 45 unnar vikur eða meira fyrir utan orlof.
