Íslandsmótinu í iðn- og verkgreinum 2010 er lokið.  Nemar frá Fjölbrautaskóla Norðurlands vestra tóku þátt í mótinu í tré- og málmgreinum og náðu einum verðlaunum.  Það var Elfar Már Viggósson, sem fékk þriðju verðlaun í tækniteikningu Inventor.  Áttum við Skagfirðingar nokkra fulltrúa í öðrum greinum mótsins. Snorri Stefánsson starfsmaður Sauðárkróksbakarís varð í öðru sæti í keppni bakara og Valdís Dröfn Pálsdóttir varð einnig í öðru sæti í einstaklingskeppni í hársnyrtiiðn. Guðmundur Kristinn Vilbergsson fyrrum starfsmaður Dodda málara ehf. fékk gullverðlaun í málaraiðn.
