Desemberuppbótin á almennum markaði, að meðtöldu orlofi, er kr. 52.100 og skal greiðast í síðasta lagi 15. desember miðað við starfshlutfall og starfstíma.

 

Starfsmenn sem verið hafa samfellt í starfi hjá atvinnurekanda í 12 vikur á síðustu 12 mánuðum eða eru í starfi 1.desember eiga rétt á desemberuppbót. Starfsmenn í ákvæðisvinnu fá greidda desemberuppbót líkt og aðrir.

Sá tími sem starfsmaður er í fæðinarorlofi telst sem starfstími við útreikning desemberuppbótar.

Iðnnemar í fullu starfi hjá fyrirtæki á námstíma fá fulla desemberuppbót.

Fullt starf telst vera 45 unnar vikur eða meira fyrir utan orlof.
