Kjarasamningsviðræður verða erfiðar

Ólafur Darri Andrason hagfræðingur ASÍ var framsögumaður á sameiginlegum fundi Öldunnar – stéttafélags, Verslunarmannafélags Skagafjarðar og Iðnsveinafélags Skagafjarðar á Mælifelli í gær.  Hann ræddi meðal annars um horfurnar í efnahagsmálum þjóðarinnar, atvinnuleysi og stöðuna í kjaramálum.  Taldi hann að komandi kjarasamningsviðræður yrðu erfiðar í ljósi aðstæðna í þjóðfélaginu. Staða einstakra atvinnugreina sé ólík sökum verikrar krónu. Miklu skiptir að krónan styrkist.

Kaupmáttur ráðstöfunartekna hefur breyst mikið á milli ára.  Árið 2009 var hann neikvæður um 20%, í ár er hann neikvæður um 6-7%. Spá fyrir árið 2011 gerir ráð fyrir jafnvægi og síðan árið 2012 er spáð að kaupmátturinn verði jákvæður um 3%.

Afar mikilvægt er að nýta tækifæri sem felast í mannauði, orku- og auðlindum og sjávarfangi. Tryggja þarf heimilum og fyrirtækjum varanlegan stöðuleiika með upptöku evru. Mikil hætta er á stöðnun ef að langvarandi atvinnuleysi dregst á langinn, þá verði lítil kaupmáttaraukning og tækifæri fá.
