Orlofsuppbótin, að meðtöldu orlofi, greiðist þann 1.júní miðað við starfshlutfall og starfstíma á orlofsárinu (01.05.-30.04), öllum starfsmönnum sem verið hafa samfellt í starfi hjá atvinnurekanda í 12 vikur á síðustu 12 mánuðum m.v. 30. apríl eða eru í starfi 01. maí. Orlofsuppbótin er kr. 25.800. Starfsmenn í ákvæðisvinnu fá greidda orlofsuppbót líkt og aðrir.
Iðnnemar í fullu starfi hjá fyrirtæki á námstíma fá fulla orlofsuppbót.
Fullt starf telst vera 45 unnar vikur eða meira fyrir utan orlof.
